Fenderwell - TSX

Front Inner Fender Replacement

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the body.

  1. Remove the front inner fender (A).
    1. On the back of the wheel arch, remove the screws (B) If equipped, remove the front splash guard (C) (Canada models).
    2. From under the front bumper (D), remove the bolts (E) securing the front bumper, splash shield (F), and front inner fender, and remove the clip (G) securing the front bumper and front inner fender.
    3. From the wheel arch, remove the clips (H, I, J) securing the front inner fender (and splash shield) on the body.
    4. Release the hook (K) of the splash shield, then remove the front inner fender.

  2. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips into place securely.

Splash Shield Replacement

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the body.

  1. Remove the splash shield (A).
    1. From both wheel arch, remove the bolts (B), clips (C), and clip (D) securing the front inner fender (E) and splash shield (on the body).
    2. From under the front bumper (F), remove the clips (C), and bolts (G).
    3. Release the hooks (H) of the splash shield, then pull the splash shield out.

  2. Install the splash shield in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips into place securely.

Front Fender Fairing Replacement

  1. Remove the front inner fender as needed (see FRONT INNER FENDER REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Open the front door. Remove the upper clip, and from inside the door, remove the lower clip securing the front fender fairing (A) and front fender (B).

  3. From the wheel arch, release the clips.

  4. Remove the front fender fairing (A).

  5. Install the fender fairing in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
    • Before installing the clips in the door opening area, install the front fender fairing (A) to the front fender (B) properly as shown.
    • Push the clips into place securely.

Rear Inner Fender Replacement

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the body.

  1. Remove the rear inner fender (A).
    1. On the front of the wheel arch, remove the screws (B) securing the side sill panel (C) and rear inner fender, and the clip (D) securing the rear inner fender and middle floor undercover (E).
    2. On the rear bumper (F), remove the screw (G).
    3. From the wheel arch, remove the clips (H, I).
    4. Pull the rear inner fender out.

  2. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips into place securely.

Rear Air Outlet Replacement

  1. Remove the rear bumper (see REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Detach the hooks (A), then remove the rear air outlet (B). Take care not to scratch the body.

  3. Install the air outlet by pushing on the hook portions until the hooks snap into place.
