Diagnosis and repair

NOTE: For more information on the pneumatic system components, proceed to the Air Suspension Pneumatic Diagram.

.Connect NGS Tester to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
.Select the proper vehicle year, model, and engine type.
.Select the "Active Command Modes" menu "Air Suspension Control" for the 4WAS-AIR SUSP/EVO (4x2 and 4x4) module.
.Monitor the RHGTSEN PID.
.Use the active command "LIFT REAR" to lift the rear noticeably higher (should only take about 30 seconds) and turn OFF.

NOTE: If vehicle does not raise at all, inspect for kinks or excessive leaks in all rear air lines all connectors.

.Wait a few seconds for the rear air suspension height sensor voltage reading to stabilize. If the rear air suspension height sensor voltage reading does not stabilize (voltage value increases), check for leaks at the air suspension rear air springs. Repair and/or replace as necessary.
.Open the air suspension rear air spring solenoids with the active command "LR AIRSP" and "RR AIRSP".
.Wait a few seconds for the rear air suspension height sensor voltage reading to stabilize. If the rear air suspension height sensor voltage reading does not stabilize (voltage value increases), check for leaks and kinks in the air line between the air suspension rear air springs, air suspension rear fill solenoid, air suspension Pressure Relief Valve (PRV), and the T-fitting. Check the air lines for incorrect connection(s) at the air suspension rear air spring(s), air suspension rear fill solenoid, air suspension PRV and the T-fitting. Check rear air springs and air suspension PRV for leaks and the seal between air spring and air solenoid. Repair and/or replace as necessary.
.Open the air suspension rear fill solenoid with the active command "REAR FILL". Leave the air suspension rear air spring solenoids open.
.Wait a few seconds for the rear air suspension height sensor voltage reading to stabilize. If the rear air suspension height sensor voltage reading does not stabilize (voltage value increases), check for leaks and kinks in the air line between the air suspension rear fill solenoid and the air suspension air drier, and between the air suspension air drier and the air suspension front fill solenoid. Check the air lines for incorrect connection(s) at the air suspension rear fill solenoid, air suspension air drier, air suspension front fill solenoid and the union connector. Check the O-ring seal of the air suspension air drier to the air compressor assembly. Repair and/or replace as necessary. If the fault can not be found, replace the air compressor assembly.
.Close all air suspension solenoids.
.If the Air Leak Test-Front has not been performed, perform the Air Leak Test-Front.
